Opening of new sales office in Ålesund
As a result of increased activities both domestically and abroad, it is a pleasure to announce that we are expanding our business. On Monday, September 2, we are opening a new office in Ålesund, Norway, which will complement our head office on Finnøy.
The office is located in the commercial building at Lerstadveien 545, which is a modern office and business building with glass and brick facades, at the corporate cluster just outside the center of Ålesund. “Previously we only had a temporary commuter office in Ålesund, but now we are officially expanding to emphasize competence building and proximity in our district. We have a number of local projects and we want to be close to customers and partners” Arne Nogva explains, Sales Manager at Finnøy Gear & Propeller, which will be responsible for the newly opened office.
The company is in a growth phase and starts with a man-year at the department. The company's management is pleased to contribute to the further development of the maritime cluster in Sunnmøre with its center in Ålesund, which is an area with a high level of activity. The new department will work closely with Finnøy's head office and the synergy effect of being close to shipping companies, shipyards, consultants and ship designers is considered to be significant.
